Omowumi is a highly experienced international human rights lawyer and public policy leader. She has extensive experience in advocating for human rights, research and designing & evaluating programs within the international development system. She currently teaches international criminal law at the University of Toronto.
Saadatu is a corporate lawyer with over a decade of experience across regions. She is an expert in regulatory affairs, compliance, politics, and fundraising. She led the global shapers hub at the World Economic Forum and holds a Master’s degree in National Security from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Katherine is an expert in communication, engagement, and partnerships on a global scale. In the course of her career, she has collaborated with advocacy groups in various countries to promote better public health policies. She has also managed brand and audience engagement for a global media company. She worked as a press officer in the U.S. Government’s International Disaster Response Bureau and supervised the media program for the Centre for Global Development.
Mobolaji is a certified accountant and financial expert with a background in financial regulation, reporting and planning. He has worked in diverse industries such as finance, refining, manufacturing, aviation and FinTech. He holds a PhD in Finance and has experience in auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He currently supports Gatefield Impact with expertise related to risk, compliance, audit, and financial management.
Ezomime is a lawyer who specializes in capital markets and finance advisory. With over five years of experience in prestigious firms in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, she earned her master’s degree from Harvard Law School, receiving the Dean’s Award for Community Leadership. She currently works for the international law firm Allen & Overy LLP. She plays a crucial role at Gatefield by offering advice on enhancing corporate governance.
Innocent is a computer scientist with a background in International Political Economy and Computational Social Science. He has experience as a research assistant with institutions such as Georgetown University’s Beeck Center for Social Impact, Massachusetts Institute of Technology GOV/LAB, and the Civic Data Design Lab (CDDL). He has experience working on governance innovation projects with the Nigerian and Sierra Leonean governments. He contributes to our growth by designing and mobilizing resources for impactful initiatives.
Chika formerly served as the Vice President of People Operations at Gatefield, where she focused on improving employee development, performance and productivity. She began her career at major tech companies, namely Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft. She holds an executive business education degree from the Lagos Business School. Currently, she assists Gatefield by overseeing matters related to people and culture,ensuring a people-centered and performance-enabling organization.
Shirley leads Gatefield’s advocacy practice. She provides oversight on all aspects related to the design and implementation of advocacy programs while securing alliances to help drive meaningful change.
